Why I'm Running
On October 11th, I will be representing Advocate Health Care as a member of the charity running team at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a member of the charity running team, I will be training, fundraising, and ultimately running 26.2 miles to benefit patients in need.
My goal is to raise money for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at Advocate Illinois Masonic to help support our department and the services we provide. I have worked in this department for the past 5 years and have had great opportunities for growth Advocate Illinois Masonic.
Our team is made up of passionate and talented therapists who work to provide a wide variety of patients with the best care possible. Many of our patients have recovered from injuries and returned to running past years' marathons or returned to their favorite sport activities. We also have a number of therapists who aid in programs/clinics to help underserved communities and patients with limited access to general health information. I would like to help our department and therapist continue to grow and better serve our patients and the community.
All donations made in 2020 will roll over to my 2021 Marathon fundraising goal. Help me give back and support our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team by making a donation, while I take on the 26.2 miles for Masonic.
