The Shepherd’s Circle Presents
Barn Dance: Back at the Ranch
Like everything in 2020, Barn Dance will look a little different this year. We’re not gathering to celebrate, but instead hunkering down and kicking off our cowboy boots for a night at the homestead to remain physically distant, but socially supportive. First, we thank ya’ll who have supported us in the past. This year, we’re reaching out to ask for support of our health care heroes who give selflessly of themselves so that others are healed.
While we’ll miss seeing everyone in their cow-folk attire, we ask that you consider a gift to support the President’s Fund for Special Needs at Good Shepherd Hospital, which will help ensure additional resources are available for urgent patient needs and services, as well as provide support for our health care heroes who dedicate their lives to serving those who turn to us for care. Your generous support will ensure flexibility to respond to future needs and assist in the recovery from these unprecedented times.
Gifts of any amount can truly make a difference.
With a gift of $750, you could provide:
- Training and materials for a new peer-to-peer program designed to offer psychological and emotional support to team members
- Flu shots for about 50 people in underserved communities
- A phone charging station for the support individuals of our patients, so they never have to worry about being out of touch
- Supplies to restock team member Respite Rooms includes adult coloring books, snacks, inspirational books, etc.
- Nutrition consultation for an at-risk patient
- 50 Wellness Bags including hand hygiene products, face masks, and educational materials for individuals in underserved communities
- A week of family care support (child or elder care) for a team member
- A week of Uber rides for low income patients without access to transportation
- A resiliency kit, including nutrition bars and snacks, body wipes, sleep masks, lotion, etc., for a team member caring for COVID patients
